The Therapists in MS Audit Tool has been created as a joint initiative between the Therapists in MS initiative (TiMS) and the MS Trust as a means of monitoring therapy services against the quality requirements in the NSF for long term conditions.
Use of the tool is unlimited and users may complete as many assessments per service or services as they wish. In practice this could be an audit of service done per centre, plus potential future audits of this service for direct comparisons. OR individual assessments of more than one service within a centre (eg physio or other therapies, with the addition of potential future audits for direct comparisons.)
Before you can use the audit tool you are required to register. This initial registration is strictly confidential and also allows multiple registrations and service assessments from a single centre/workplace.
However it must be noted that one registration “profile” drives all assessments that are made against a particular service. To use the audit tool for more than one service within a centre please register each service separately.
Upon completion of registration, log in details and a password will be sent to the “registree”; that is the email address entered in the registration process.
It is possible to return to and resume incomplete assessments; as well as viewing ALL previous results. Completing an assessment at frequent intervals will allow analysis and monitoring of the impact of any change as ALL previous results are saved.
Individual service and/or centre results will be “measured” against each of the NSF requirements. National and Geographic comparisons are also possible.
