The Darzi Review - High Quality for All?
The MS Trust has stated that it welcomes the spirit and words of Lord Darzi's "High Quality Care for All", with its promises of "quality of care, positive patient experiences and the monitoring of outcomes", but there is concern that neurological conditions are again being ignored and that there is no detail about how these promises will be delivered.
The proof will certainly be in the NHS's ability to translate vision to reality. People with a long-term condition such as MS have the greatest need of an effective health service and we hope that having set an aspiration for quality health care Lord Darzi will follow through and ensure implementation.
