The Commons Health Select Committee has criticised the lack of joined-up care, health and housing services that mean people are passed between service providers. They don't see the answer in the Health & Social Care Bill and suggest a single local body to commission these services. Most coverage focuses on care for older people rather than for younger disabled. Guardian also looks at the Torbay model, where integration does exist.
